French toast

Perfect for breakfast, brunch or whenever you want something sweet, this toast is easy and fast to make and mega delicious. You can combine it with a fruit topping, jam, whipped cream or simple!

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup/honey (optional)
  • 300 ml milk of choice
  • pinch of salt
  • 10 toasts
  • 1 tsp oil for frying


  • In a bowl break the eggs and beat them with salt.
  • Add milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence and cinnamon. Mix to combine.
  • Heat a tablespoon of butter in a pan. Soak the toast slices well into the composition and fry them for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked.
  • Serve hot with your favorite fruit topping or just with butter and extra maple syrup.
