Mi-a luat ceva pana am testat aceasta reteta, deoarece sunt un mic sceptica in ceea ce priveste combinatia de dulce in meniurile principale, insa m-am lasat usor cucerita de gustul acestui sos! 🙂 Ce stiu sigur este ca voi mai incerca combinatia de sos teriyaki si cu alte ingrediente…poate conopida, somon sau noodles cu legume? Vom vedea ce va urma! 🙂

Ingredients

Pui teriyaki

  • 1 piept de pui
  • 3 linguri sos de soia
  • 2 linguri apa
  • 1 lingura otet balsamic sau zeama de lamaie sau otet de orez
  • 2 linguri miere sau zahar
  • 1/2 lingura ghimbir ras
  • 1 catel de usturoi
  • 1 lingura amidon de porumb
  • seminte de susan

Garnitura

  • 125 g orez
  • 250 ml apa sau supa
  • sare, piper dupa gust
  • salata optional

Instructions

Pui teriyaki

  • Taie puiul cubulete si prajeste-l in tigaia incinsa cu 2 linguri de ulei, la foc mediu.
  • Intre timp, pregateste sosul teriyaki: amesteca intr-un bol sosul de soia, apa, mierea, ghimbirul, usturoiul, otetul si amidonul de porumb.
  • Cand puiul este gata, adauga sosul teriyaki si lasa-l sa se gateasca, pana se ingroasa ca o pasta. Amesteca continuu pentru a nu se lipi. La final, adauga semintele de susan.

Garnitura

  • Spala orezul si pune-l la fiert in apa rece, la foc mic, pentru aproximativ 15 minute. Adauga sare dupa gust!
  • Serveste alaturi de pui si salata preferata!

Notes

* Este posibil ca in functie de gustul propriu sa vrei sa mai adaugi sos de soia sau poate mai mult ghimbir/usturoi, asadar feel-free sa experimentezi dupa propriul gust! 🙂

Ingredients

Teriyaki chicken

  • 1 chicken breast
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar or lemon or rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey or sugar
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger
  • 1 garlic glove
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • sesame seeds

Garnish

  • 125 g rice
  • 250 ml water or soup

Instructions

Teriyaki chicken

  • Cut chicken into cubes and fry it in a hot pan with 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.
  • Prepare the teriyaki sauce: mix the soy sauce, water, honey, ginger, garlic, vinegar and cornstarch in a bowl.
  • When the chicken is ready, add the teriyaki sauce and let it cook until it thickens like a paste. Stir continuously to not stick. At the end, add the sesame seeds.

Garnish

  • Wash the rice and boil it in cold water over low heat for 15 minutes or until the water is absorbed. Add salt to taste!
  • Serve with chicken and your favorite salad!

Notes

*Depending on your own taste, you may want to add more soy sauce or maybe more ginger / garlic, so feel-free to experiment with your own taste! 🙂
