De obicei, in weekend, prefer un mic dejun “dulce” care din punctul meu de vedere merge perfect langa o cafea sau ceai si de cele mai multe ori aleg ori clatite, pancakes, ovaz cu ciocolata, insa azi m-am trezit cu pofta de french toast.

Zis si facut, m-am pus pe treaba. Am combinat ingredientele intr-un bol, paine toast aveam ca doar asa avem in casa in ultima vreme si in cateva minute micul dejun a fost gata. O mica placere nevinovata pentru duminicile noastre! 🙂

Ingredients

  • 3 oua
  • 1 lingurita scortisoara
  • 1 lingura esenta de vanilie
  • 1 lingura sirop de artar sau miere/zahar/sirop de agave (optional)
  • 300 ml lapte la alegere
  • un praf de sare
  • 1 lingurita unt/ulei de cocos
  • 10 felii toast

Instructions

  • Intr-un bol spargem ouale si le batem cu praful de sare.
  • Adaugam laptele, scortisoara, vanilia si siropul si le amestecam bine.
  • Intr-o tigaie incingem o lingura de unt. Inmuiem bine feliile de toast in compozitie si le prajim cam 2-3 minute pe fiecare parte sau pana se gatesc.
  • Servim cald cu topping-ul de fructe preferat sau doar un pic de unt si sirop de artar extra.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup/honey (optional)
  • 300 ml milk of choice
  • pinch of salt
  • 10 toasts
  • 1 tsp oil for frying

Instructions

  • In a bowl break the eggs and beat them with salt.
  • Add milk, maple syrup, vanilla essence and cinnamon. Mix to combine.
  • Heat a tablespoon of butter in a pan. Soak the toast slices well into the composition and fry them for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until cooked.
  • Serve hot with your favorite fruit topping or just with butter and extra maple syrup.
