Choux a la creme, profiterol sau cream puff (eu asa le-am gasit din intamplare) este un desert cu specific frantuzesc, umplut cu crema/frisca si pudrat cu zahar. Reteta lui este foarte simpla si rapid de facut, incat nici mie nu imi venea sa cred.

Ca si umplutura, se pot servi cu creme de ciocolata, vanilie, frisca, fructe sau chiar simple. Eu am mancat unele umplute cu dulceata de fructe si pot sa spun ca au fost chiar o combinatie buna.

Sunt rapid de facut, aluatul nu necesita nimic special, dospire sau framantare, se realizeaza totul la foc mic, se pune in tava si la final rezultatul arata DELICIOS!

Ingredients

  • 235 g faina
  • 100 ml lapte
  • 100 ml apa
  • 6 linguri unt
  • un praf sare
  • 4 oua la temperatura camerei
  • 2 linguri zahar

Pentru umplutura

  • 200 ml frisca lichida
  • 2 linguri zahar pudra
  • 1 lingura esenta de vanilie
  • capsuni

Instructions

  • Intr-o cratita, la foc mediu, adaugam untul, laptele, apa, zaharul, sarea. Lasam sa fiarba.
  • Dam la o parte de pe foc ai adaugam faina. Amestecam cu ajutorul unei linguri de lemn continuu, pana se omogenizeaza compozitia.
  • Adaugam din nou pe foc, timp de 2 minute si amestecam continuu pana se va forma o bila de aluat. Turnam compozitia obtinuta intr-un bol si lasam sa se raceasca usor.
  • Adaugam ouale, cate unul pe rand si amestecam pana se incorporeaza complet. Puteti folosi un mixer de mana sa va fie mai usor sa mixati compozitia. Rezultatul obtinut trebuie sa fie o pasta cremoasa, neteda si groasa!
  • Pregatim o tava cu hartie de copt si incingem cuptorul la 180 de grade Celsius.
  • Umplem o punga cu pos si formam mici bile de aluat de 2cm diametru si 1.5 inaltime, pe care le asezam cam la 2cm distanta in tava. Este posibil sa fie nevoie de doua coaceri, daca tava este mica sau depinde de dimensiunea bilelor pe care le formati.
  • Dam la cuptor pentru aproximativ 25-30 minute sau pana se formeaza o crusta aurie deasupra.
  • Scoatem din cuptor si lasam sa se raceasca pe un gratar de racire la temperatura camerei.
  • Intre timp, pregatim frisca: intr-un bol adaugam 200 ml frisca pe care ii mixam pana devine spumoasa. Adaugam zaharul pudra si esenta de vanilie si continuam sa mixam pana devine tare.
  • Cand sunt gata racite, le taiem pe jumatate si umplem cu crema obtinuta partea de jos a pufuletelor. Adaugam capsunile feliate si ulterior punem inapoi capacul (partea de sus). Pudram cu zahar si servim!

Ingredients

  • 235 g all purpose flour
  • 100 ml milk
  • 100 ml water
  • 6 tbsp butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 4 eggs room temperature
  • 2 tbsp sugar

For filling

  • 200 ml heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla essence
  • strawberries

Instructions

  • In a saucepan, over medium heat, add butter, milk, water, sugar, salt. Let it boil.
  • Remove from the heat and add flour. Mix with a wooden spoon continuously, until the composition is homogeneous.
  • Add again on the heat for 2 minutes and stir continuously until a ball of dough is formed. Pour the obtained composition in a bowl and let it cool slightly.
  • Add eggs, one at a time and mix until completely incorporated. You can use a hand mixer to make it easier to mix the composition. The result must be a creamy paste, smooth and thick.
  • Prepare a tray with baking paper and heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  • Fill a pipping bag and form small balls of dough of 2cm diameter and 1.5cm tall, placed with 2cm between them. It may take two backings if the tray is small or depends on the size of the balls you are forming.
  • Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until a golden crust forms on top.
  • Remove from the oven and let cool on a cooling grill at room temperature.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the whipped cream: in a bowl add 200 ml of heavy cream and mix until it becomes frothy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla essence and continue to mix until fluffy.
  • When the puffs are cooled, cut them in half and fill the bottom of the puff pastry with cream. Add the sliced strawberries and then put back the lid (top). Powder with sugar and serve!
